Formula GP, Inc. has developed the Indy Club Racer, a formula-type racecar, which is available for sale to the general public. The Indy Club Racer is a brand new concept in motorsports. Two models of the Indy Club Racer are available, the
Entry-Level Concession Model and Full-Race Model.
Entry-Level/Concession Model - Designed for use in our mobile events, this model uses a slightly modified 570cc Briggs
& Stratton Vanguard V-Twin engine with 23 HP. The transmission is a standard version of the Comet variable belt drive torque converter. Braking is accomplished by a large Wilwood caliper mounted in the rear. The tires are all-weather road tires mounted on 10" wheels. Though this model is capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 to 55 mph, in the mobile
event setting, speeds will seldom top 30 mph due to the course design. Options include customizing the body
appearance, wing configuration, and paint colors/graphics to reflect sponsorship or personal taste.
Full-Race Model - This model, which is available for sale to the public, uses a highly modified 620cc Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-Twin engine generating approximately 46 HP at 6,500 RPM. This model is further distinguished by a custom race-modified variable belt drive torque converter. Braking is accomplished by twin Wilwood calipers mounted at the
front wheels in addition to the large Wilwood caliper mounted in the rear. The tires are medium-compound Hoosier
racing slicks mounted on 10" Weld racing wheels. This model will achieve speeds up to 100 plus mph. In addition to customized body appearance, wing configuration, paint colors/graphics, the owner can select powder-coating colors for
the chassis (the Entry-Level Model offers black only); selection of Kirkey seats; color options for seat covers and seat
belt (Entry-Level Model offers black only); full instrument/ telemetry cluster; rear view mirrors; selection of quick-release mounted steering wheels including Momo and Caliber; specially-configured tool set and set of final drive sprockets and gears.
Both models fit a custom-designed trailer, which can be purchased separately.
